Before a quote can be provided, information such as what type of industry you are in? What type of accounting system are you using? Is your accounting system properly reconciled?  If you are an individual tax return information such as: 1) Are you a sole trader? 2) Do you share trade? 3) Do you have a investment property that is managed by a real estate agent? 4) Do you receive trust distributions? 5) Do you use a motor vehicle for work purposes? 6) Have you summarised your expenses and have you pdf's of the receipts?

The best way to cut down in accounting fee's is to be organised. That means:   1st - If you are using an accounting system like Xero or Myob, make sure the bank has been reconciled back to bank statement at the end of each month.  2nd - If you are not using an accounting system you should summarize your expenses and have the receipts in PDF format.  3rd - If you are not using an accounting system you should make sure your accountant is receiving your business transactions via a datafeed.
