Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

All trucks have "Standard Transit Insurance", covering fire, flood, rollover or collision. Comprehensive insurance cover, including accidental damage, is always recommended and is available @ Carts Insurance, a link we provide, or call your own home contents insurer to inquire.

Many years in the self storage industry provided a good basis for a number of opportunities related to helping people move their belongings. This business is a good fit to continue taking the stress out of such a big event in people's lives, ensuring the moving team is reliable and experienced.

Debbie needed to move herself + her car from NSW to North Qld while moving her elderly Mum. The drive would have been too arduous for her Mum so Debbie wanted to fly. We coordinated the car pickup from a friend + the furniture uplift to arrive in 2 days. Very happy lady!

Is the moving team experienced? Can you service my preferred dates? Could I have my goods pre-packed? Are my goods insured on the truck? Could you arrange car transport?

Q - Will it be a little truck? A - Interstate trucks are large furniture trucks, able to fit loads for multiple clients while ensuring each load is well segregated. This allows the run to be viable and keeps the price down so clients do not pay for the whole truck space, rather - just the space they utilize.

I am able to put myself in the client's position and I know what they should know and expect. I am, by nature, a 'get things done in the most responsible manner' type of person. I strongly believe in treating others as I would like to be treated myself - respectfully and honestly.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Preferred pickup date or a move out by date or delivery by date. Property type - ground level house/unit; high-set house/townhouse; high rise block, which floor, stair or lift access. Property access - approx. metres from back of parked truck to building front door; restricted parking. If any items need more than 2 men to lift - e.g. Piano, Poole Table, Large Marble/Stone Goods.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Use few box sizes+pack to edges. Port-a-Robes for garden tools, camp gear, etc - avoids 'loose' items/saves space. Put boxes in garage. Don't block walkway  2. Empty drawers; secure turntables+w/machine bowl; Drain petrol 3. Cover mattress. Wrap TV/Art. Dismantle beds+flat-pack items+trampoline.

If there are deferrals or cancellations of moves leaving space on a previously fully booked truck run that is relevant to your from and to locations, we will contact you with a discount offer.

Accepted Answer

We seek to offer "GOOD VALUE", ensuring the moving team IS experienced in removal of 'everything a client owns'. We may or may not quote the lowest price as it is not worth compromising service quality when responsible for clients' belongings and we don't load prices 'because we could'.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

Once you have accepted our quotation, a deposit is payable by funds transfer within 48 hours to secure the booking for the space and date for your move. The balance is payable in full either to the driver on uplift of the goods or be received 2 working days prior to uplift into our bank account.

Interstate and long distance Intrastate Furniture Removals in part or full truck loads with a high customer service level and experienced moving teams to or from most areas of Australia at a reasonable price. Clients may have goods loaded from or delivered to more than 1 property and may include extra services - pre-packing or vehicle transport.
