I have public liability insurance that is issued through the Association that I am a member of and, legally, I pay a fee to the Attorney Generals Department to enable me to be a practicing celebrant..

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

How much are your services? They vary but start at $395. How long will my ceremony be? Usually a ceremony last for 20-30 minutes. Do you play the music for us? I can play music through my PA system but, quite often, it is easier for you to download it as then you are sure of getting the right version of a song.

Celebrants need to know the date and place of the ceremony so that they can give a quote that represents your needs.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I have 2 price points - one for a "registry" style wedding where you have the choice of three different ceremonies and you then do the work to finish it off how you would like. Then there is a ceremony that I can create uniquely for you - this specialised service is slightly more pricey but most think worth the extra money.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I am a mid range priced celebrant - right in the centre, but deliver a service that those at the top end aspire to.

I am a celebrant who can assist you to commemorate those important times of your life, weddings, naming and funerals. Nothing is too difficult - just ask me what we can create together.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

With over 8 years as a celebrant I have performed many different ceremonies, and have enjoyed each and every one! I studied with the International School of Celebrancy to gain my qualification in 2008 and have practised in real life (on my marriage) for 39 years this year!
