My mother was a cleaner and a good teacher. She said its not everyone's cup of tea. You either have it or you don't. Eventually I started JDF CLEANING SERVICES because there's a huge market for good cleaners on the coast.

We clean weekly for a customer on a weekly basis and one week we went to clean I could hear someone banging and yelling. When I went to see what was going on, to my surprise our customer had been locked in the toilet and couldn't get out! It was a good thing we had already cleaned that toilet because it took awhile for her husband to get her out!

What do you like most about your job?

It's amazing when a customer gets home from work and sms to say how fantastic their home looks and smells. Its a great feeling when other people notice the good work we do because it makes you want to keep doing a great job.

Ask what is included in the service you are paying for. Specify your priorities and make a list if you have time. Also ask what can I do to reduce the time. Eg pick up things off the floor?

Do we do window cleaning. And the answer is yes we can clean windows however we do not clean outside windows above the ground floor unless they can be safely reached.

By doing a quick tidy up of surfaces and floors. Pre spray mould in showers if any and do the dishes or load the dishwasher prior.
