Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

I am insured with Allianz for work cover and public liability. These are required by the venue sometimes when you do weddings, particularly in the Huntervalley Vineyards.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I love photography and I love portrait, landscape, and abstract. I guess as I started as a hobby then for ten years gave me a time to improve my skills. With so many people asking me for some photography work I decided to make it a living instead. I teach photography, do family portrait,& wedding.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I have a customer who didn't like to have her wedding photograph as they have spent a lot of money on the wedding. After few discussion and convincing of her fiancee back then she realised now that she was so lucky that she agreed to get me as their wedding photographer or no photo for the memory.

What do you like most about your job?

It is more of the people I interact with my job. I enjoy the laughter, the emotion, and the family orientation of the event. It reminds me of my family. I love being in that environment and that is why I love my job.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

It more of their portfolio need to stands for itself instead of asking if they are professional. Some professional have no qualification but their work speaks for itself. For my personal experience, I studied 2 years of photography & yet I learnt from experience and finding my own niche of workflow.

Can I cover the event only for two hours? Yes, sure. I do charge by the hour that will only cater for your needs. Are you professional or learning photographer? I am professional and have years of experience. I guarantee my work for quality and professionalism.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

I commit to make sure I am prepared on the day and also have a contingency plan if something happens not favor to us. I always shoot with 2 body cameras, a second shooter or with an assistant.

I stand for quality and professionalism on my job. I treat every job as special as my own. I make sure I capture the best images that will treasure by my clients for the rest of their lives and also look back and say "that was the happiest moment of our lives and they were glad they got me to do it"

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Date of the shoot, Location, Budget, schedule times, requirements of the location from the photographer , phone number, email address, and the clients names. Some of these are very common but necessary to provide the information to liaise with the clients.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. I travel to their location to discuss the shoot and save them time and money to travel. 2. I provide them with extra print of canvass value of $250 3. 50% off on our Leather Bound Slip on Photobook with 100x 6"x4" images printed for the album

What makes your pricing competitive?

I try to be in the middle but still be competitive. I don't want everyone to think that I charge low because I am not confident to do the job. As my portfolio will speak for itself that I value my reputation that money is not everything. It is more of the job you perform in the most satisfactory way

How do you normally charge for your service?

I have wedding and family portrait packages but for more budget stuff I charge by the hour. I know some clients can not afford to pay for High End photographers but I try to cater for that so that they have the best quality images for the service I provide.

I specialised in Wedding and Family portraits. Lately I have been expanding in Real estate photography, Head Shots, Corporate shoot, and Portfolio build up.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have completed Diploma in Photography and I have more than 10 years experience in shooting portraiture, landscapes, family portraits, weddings, & teaching photography. I also very proficient in Photoshop and Lightroom software that I do my own post processing and not outsourcing it overseas.
