I am fully insured and guarantee to do the best job I can possibly achieve. Just to let you know most house and con tense insurance covers your belongings whilst in the truck so I can offer great saving to these people.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I was between jobs and a friend asked me would I like to come for a trip to Sydney, wasn't real keen but needed the money, it was a hard week but I loved the traveling that was 15 years ago.

There was the time I moved a family from down near Newcastle to Towoomba, he was in the army. It was a week before Christmas and the whole family was stressed, you could imagine how that would be. Over five days we packed and moved them to their new home in Queensland Christmas tree and all. When we went to leave and say goodbye the kids started to cry and begged us to stay for Christmas,we couldn't of course.That's when I knew this job was for me...

What do you like most about your job?

I'd have to say the interaction with different people from all walks of life , the satisfaction of being thanked for doing a great job at the end of the day and the customers  smile as we leave...yep that's why I love removals.

They should ask how experienced the men will be, have they had any experience working for major international companies and will the price be competitive?      We offer all of the above!

I guess it would have to be my honesty, my friends tell me sometimes I,m to honest , but that's just me.If something go's wrong or gets damage I will let you know as soon as I know, not like some others that "sneak" it in so you don't see the damage until they have left.

I've been in the industry for over 15 years and know what it takes to be a good removalist, some seem to think it's just a matter of getting in and out as quick as possible but I know there is more to a good move than shear pace.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

I need a complete list of every thing that will be moved on the day, this includes all items outside and in garage and a estimate on the number of cartons there will be. It is usually easier for me to come to your house and have a quick look because with experience comes great knowledge of the amount by just a simple visual.

There are many ways a customer can save money with JASON'S REMOVALS. The most common way is to use proper removalist cartons and use the old rule," whatever fits in a box go's in a box".I supply cartons free of charge on a loan basis.

My pricing structure is competitive simply because I am a new company and think that people pay way to much to move house locally.I believe if I do the right thing by people the company can only grow.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I find that cash upon delivery is the easiest way to go but I'm in the process of getting a mobile efpos  machine for the convenience of my customers.Invoices receipts are mailed out after the move is completed.

I'd have to say customer service, before starting my own company I was told on many occasions that my customer service was exceptional. A close second would have to be care for peoples belonging, very rarely any damages on any of my jobs.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I spent ten years in Coffs Harbour working for the oldest removals company and spent my time driving their largest truck moving people mostly inter state.that's where I learnt my customer service skills as alot of the time I would spend 3 to 4 days with the same family.
