As an organised caring person who loves helping others, being a marriage celebrant is a natural choice of career. I get a lot of joy from working with my couple to design their perfect ceremony. I listen to their ideas and wants, make suggestions, but ultimately the day is theirs. Nothing is too hard.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I met Geogie, my bride's 6 year old nephew (who had just arrived from the UK for the wedding) at the rehearsal. She expressed that she would love for him to be more involved.  On the wedding day, we finished the ceremony with one of my favourite wedding poems. Georgie and I read alternate verses. There was hardly a dry eye amongst the bridal party and guests. A very memorable experience for my couple, their family and especially Georgie.

Meeting and working with new couples, then helping them create their wedding of choice. Whether it is a short legal ceremony, through to an elaborate production ceremony. I love helping people.
