Yes we are fully insured and guarantee our workmanship. Legally being a Gas Fitting Company we must also hold two BSA licences, instead of one as only required by sole traders. Gas fitters cannot do any contact work without one.

We are purely Gas Fitters only. We are not plumbers or drainers or home handy men .... we are gas specialists !   This ensures our knowledge and expertise in each facet of gas fitting. We are up to date with the latest products, training, gas code requirements and most importantly safety.  We will not compromise on safety and welcome our customers and potential customers the opportunity to contact us 24 hours a day 7 Days a week, for any enquiry regarding work we have done or will be doing. No question is too trivial for our customers piece of mind. We are also on call 24/7 for any emergencies you may have.  We are a small family business that thrives on customer service and building long term relationships with our customers.  We spend the time to listen to what you want & not what's 'easiest' for us.  We provide innovative solutions for customer requests always working within required legislation, safety and budget. Your satisfaction is our guarantee of success !!!

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Do they have Natural Gas availability in their area, do they currently have a gas connection (either LPG or Natural Gas) ?, Or don't they have any gas at all and need a new system? The age of an existing gas system or when it was installed. The age and model of the  appliances being fixed or fitted.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

The customer can provide close access to the job wherever possible, this saves time being wasted walking back and forth to get supplies & tools etc. This time can add up if the customer is paying and hourly rate.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We generally come out and quote on location to give you a no surprises figure.  Our call out rate varies between $80.00 and $120.00 +GST depending on time, day and location. This  includes 30 min Diagnosis and  labour.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

As gas fitting is generally considered by the general public to be part of the plumbing sector, customers are often surprised to find that not allplumbers are gas fitters... We have installers with restricted plumbing qualifications which are required under legislation for hot water installations, but specialise in gas, we have plumbers who get us to do their gas work !!

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Our Gas Fitters are Fully qualified , holding occupational licences issued by the Queensland Government, Dept. of Petroleum and Gas. We also have all required BSA Licences as required by legislation. We have close knit team that have worked together for 5 years ensuring effective communication and quality work.
