I have one client in particular that really stood out. I did her hair and makeup while I was exhibiting at the Bridal Expo at Luna Park. She booked me for her wedding that day. A week later my now husband proposed so this client and I were comparing notes about our weddings. We are still in contact!

My work is my passion and my passion is my work. I love creating new looks on people and seeing them smile after I am finished. Making people look more beautiful and seeing how happy they are makes the work all the worthwhile

Because someone knows how to use a blowdryer does not make them a hairdresser, nor does it make them a makeup artist if they can use a makeup brush. Customers should make sure the person they are hiring is fully qualified and they have business insurance.

Clients are always wanting to know what is the best price I can do and what products I use. I am always open to price negotiation within reason and I only ever use the best and top quality products. To me, it is important to ensure I only ever use the best products

So I can give the client the best possible price, I ask clients to let me know what time they need to be ready by and how many people are requiring the service. I also ask if there is parking provided (hotel guests) and if there are any parking restrictions. I always like to be at a job on time!

If a client finds a price cheaper somewhere else, I will honour the same deal and knock off 10%* The client would need to show proof of the quote and the business who has quoted this price needs to be at the same standard as myself. How I charge is based firstly on the service the client is wanting, the location, time they need to be ready by and also if parking charges need to be added. I do not charge extra if it is a wedding. My prices can be negotiated and I also do package deals to suit the client's budget
