We are very considerate to all members of the public in relation to personal hygiene and individual cleanliness. No technician is to come to work if they have any contagious symptoms present. We are also happy to wear face masks when required.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always been a practical learner, however my other strong subject in school happened to be Mathematics. My dad one day suggested becoming an electrician might be a good union of the two skills; so i gave it a go and the rest is history!  Thanks Dad :)

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

We had a church approach us as their electrical bill was extremely high each month due to excessive light usage. One poor man with a bung knee was dealt with the task of scaling a fire-stairwell to check the downstairs chapel lighting 2 times per day as people kept forgetting to turn off the lights before leaving the rooms. The switches were also in a tricky place to use. One of our techs suggested we use SAL Pixie to help them with this dilemma. This worked a treat for the most part as he was now able to control 90% of the lights from the touch of his finger anywhere in the world!  The only section we couldn't link consistently was the downstairs chapel due to the thick concrete floors and walls, as the home hub control unit is upstairs in the managers office (central to all 3 x buildings with smart switches). This then became a cool learning curve as we soon realised that even the smart SAL Pixie Power adapters extended the bluetooth mesh range. We then plugged one adapter into a power point at the top and plugged in another down the bottom as you enter the chapel. This fixed the issue straight away and our good friend Ray is over the moon. Now his knee may rest! :)  Side Note: The Sal Pixie Power adapters can be used in all different sorts of clever ways. One example which is what I have used at home is using it to control our night light lamp in our bedroom hallway. We have the Pixie adapter on a schedule to turn on the light for 2 hours every night!

I love that every job is different and we have the flexibility to create better living spaces for our customers. We love to help bring their imagination to life; and when unsure we love creating unique spaces with the aid of our knowledge and experience.

I usually ask the following: Is the house single or double story? Is the house brick veneer, cladding or other? Is there a pitched roof with roof access? Is your pitched roof tile or tin? Are you okay with patching downstairs if required?
