  David and the boys from Mars had a fair challenge when they arrived at our very steep and limited access block. To say the least we were more than impressed with the punctuality and hard work ethic from start to finish the team displayed. We found Dave and the team very helpful and forgiving when faced with planning and access issues. More importantly our initial project came in under budget and allowed us to add additional works.   Having recently purchased a new home i engaged the services of Mars Lanscapes and could not have been happier with the finished product and impeccable service. They were very professional and kept me updated in terms of progress and budget which was much appreciated. • Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

  Mars Landscaping and Design are registered builders (DB-L 34103). Being a registered builder, the client is assured of a warranty as per the building regulations of Victoria. Many people are unaware that any garden over $5000 must be built by a registered builder and not doing so may have legal and regulatory implications at sale of home or with local council. Mars Landscapes offer contracts and terms of trade to be certain that the client is receiving exactly what they are paying for, we wouldn't have it any other way. Mars Landscaping and Design are fully insured with QBE Public Liability Cover to $20,000,000.

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  Whilst studying Architecture at Deaking University Geelong, I needed a 'summer job'. I was lucky enough to find work with a very experienced Melbourne landscaper and simply fell in love with building gardens. After graduating I spent time in a architects office but found myself looking out the window wanting to be on site and building what I was drawing. Working with Jamie Durie opened my eyes to what can be created and with my construction and design knowledge I decided to create Mars Landscaping and never looked back.
