Most of the time a site visit is vital, as well as meeting with the client, to understand what they want or need to achieve. The budget is critical to what can be achieved.

I recommend either having a clear understanding of what you want to achieve, or alternatively haveing an open mind and let the designer use their professional experience to guide the project.

How do you normally charge for your service?

There are multiple ways to work with clients. I  will consider what the client wants vs what they need.  One option is to use a retainer, built into the overall quote. A flat hourlly rate, or for instance charge per drawing or concept. Which ever works best for the project.

With a BA Honors Degree in Interior design. Diploma in interior design. GNVQ in Engineering. Currently studying Diploma in project management.  Experienced managing high-end residential, commercial and FnB projects from design conceptualization, through to full fit-out.
