How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I just feel in love with music when I was 12 years old. Buy the time I was 15 I already had my first turntables and mixer. I did my first wedding at 18 and I have never looked back.

One off my favourite stories is when I did a customers 18th birthday then their 21st then their engagement then their wedding and of course I did their child’s christening.

Getting to meet people and making them dance and enjoy the function. I also enjoy traveling to different places and venues.

What happens if we want you for an extra hour? That’s fine I’m willing to play for longer than 5 hours. I normally charge an extra $50 per half hour.

You don’t get to survive in this industry buy taking short cuts. I get to my functions at least an hour before the start and you need to listen to your customers.

I normally need to know the duration of the function. The location of the function and any musical needs you may require.

This question does not really apply when booking a professional DJ service because we normally do all the work ourselves.

I offer a free wireless microphone with all my gigs, lights with a laser if requested. Any MC work is free of charge.

There are a lot of hobby DJ’s that try to get in the industry that take short cuts like no public liability, leads are not tagged or tested and don’t pay for a license to play copyright protected music. They don’t normally last long.

How do you normally charge for your service?

The price you pay for a DJ can vary because of the hours worked and the travel time. We normally charge for a 5 hour function.

I do have a very large range of international music including Italian, Greek, Maltese, Punjabi, Latin and Vietnamese. My variety in music is what makes me a popular DJ.

I have many years in the industry and I also have a diploma in audio engineering. I started DJing for the love of musicI and I am fortunate to make a career out of it.
