Melbourne West House Inspection is your first port of call should you need a property inspected in the City of Melbourne and surrounding areas. As a premier building inspection company, we can provide you with a service that you can rely on. Our inspectors have a minimum of 30 years’ experience in the building industry, and therefore have an excellent eye for damage, defects and any other building issues that represent cause for concern. At Melbourne West House Inspection, we understand that you need inspection results quickly, as you may need to act fast if you are to secure your dream home. When you enlist our help, you will be provided with a comprehensive report within 24 hours. No matter how busy you are or where the property is located, we will find an inspection time that suits you – whether you need a morning or afternoon appointment. We are able to carry out inspections 7 days a week for complete convenience, and you do not need to be present when we visit. Our only stipulation is that we need to be able to gain access to the house or apartment in question. We will call you with our results as soon as we have collated them, and then send through a comprehensive report complete with photos within 24 hours. All of our inspectors are backed by more than 30 years of experience in the building industry, and all building inspections are carried out to the Australian Standard 4349.1 (2007 and above). Our pest inspections are carried out in keeping with the Australian Standard 4349.3 (1998 and above).     DO I NEED A PEST/TERMITE REPORT IF I AM BUYING A BRICK HOUSE BUILT ON A CONCRETE SLAB? Unfortunately the answer is yes. These homes still often have a wooden frame, and termites only need a 2mm gap in your bricks or mortar, drainpipes, eaves or ventilation areas to gain access to this timber.
