  DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET A SHOCK 10:30PM A NIGHT BEFORE YOU ARE MOVING. I paid a $100 deposit and received a confirmation letter 3 weeks before we are moving. However I received a message at 8:00pm the night before we were moving, saying the moving time needs to be changed from 7:00am to 2:00pm. I did not agree because the lift reservation time was 11:30am to 1:30pm at the new place. Then they messaged me at 10:30pm, and said they can only send a 4 tonnes truck instead of the 11 tonnes truck I booked. And said the reservation will be cancelled if I don't agree to it. How can they do it? I got their confirmation letter 3 weeks ago. Their confirmation is unreliable at all. I don't want to but I have to accept it because the following jobs like house cleaning on the next day of moving... are arranged. Next morning the truck arrived one hour later than scheduled. And they used a sub-contractor. They did commit that they won't use a sub-contractor, so their price is higher than other mover and that's the reason I chose this business even though the price is dearer than the others. However it ended up with my 2 sons and my husband using their 4 wheel drive cars to help that small 4 tonns truck move by 2 trips to finish the job. For sure the price I paid was much more than the big truck which I booked because 2 trips took more time even though the hourly rate was reduced from $200 to $180 due to much reduction in the capacity of trucks. And they didn't give me a TAX INVOICE even though I messaged and emailed to ask for it. Also a plant was not moved to the right position. I messaged and emailed them to come back to do it because it is heavy and we can't make it. Eventually, they didn't come to make it even though I asked for it three times via email and message. I would give ZERO STAR if I could.

  Very happy with movalist- Rizwan and Giovani were very good, careful and showed up ontime at 7:45am and everything was done in 2 hours- very friendly and polite. Thank you

  DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY - left stranded with no removalist on move day! We had no missed calls, emails or text messages from Movalist on our move day for our 7am booking. Booking deposit paid the week prior. After calling at 7:50am to see what was happening, Nick said they were having a mechanic fix a truck and that he would be with us by 10am and also said he would call back to update us. We had booked a large truck which I discussed we needed on the phone in the week prior only to be told on the morning of the move that they were also planning on sending a small truck. I tried calling and sent text messages to Movalist multiple times all day and no answer. No follow up, reply or communication from Movalist at all. We were completely stuck on move day with no truck. And still no reply to my request to have my deposit back. The lack of communication, care and service is quite shocking. It takes a lot for me to bother doing a bad review but this warrants one. If you want someone to turn up to your confirmed booking, this is not the company to use.

  Used this business recently to move our house into a storage unit and the balance into our son's house. All of the staff were friendly and really took care of our belongings. The issue I have is the value for money. The boss (Nick) and his offsider turned up on time and started to tear into loading. We thought wow the job was going to be over pretty quickly. Within an hour of starting the boss was drawn away to do something else and left his offsider to most of the work himself until another guy arrived at 3.00 - 3.30pm. We were charged for 8.5 hours for two men and a truck. For at least 2.5 hours we had one guy only. I also think we would not have needed the 8.5 hours if there was no interruption. I paid the higher amount as we were all knackered after the day and didn't want the fuss. The next day I messaged Nick and told him I thought we were overcharged. To date I have not received a response. So, lesson learned for me. I would not engage this business (or any other removalist) on an hourly rate! Fixed rate only!

  Eberton and Ryan were punctual polite and patient!! What more could you ask for? Be prepared and have everything wrapped and packed and it will be a dream!
