We recently had a move between properties and couldn't be more satisfied. The estimated quote was very close to what was provided with only a half hour extra required. The removalists George and Lou were professional, efficient and friendly. They even managed to get a large fridge through an otherwise impossible doorway - couldn't have managed without them. An hour and half late arriving. What appeared to be a total lack of experience. Four hours to do a two hour job. Only half of the crew of two worked hard. For the price we ended up paying, we could have had a fully professional relocation in half the time. The whole 'lets stop work until the full bill is paid' thing just added salt to the wound. We aren't going to argue with the response to our review, however: 1. We were given an expected arrival of between 07:30 and 08:30. We received a phone call at 07:31 to say that they were "an hour away". At 08:45 we received another call to say they were ten minutes away. They arrived at 09:00. We did not tip anybody anything, that we know of. This is a lie. We left the Originating address at 10:00, and all of the items requiring removal had been removed to various locations around the building. The truck had not arrived at the house by 11:37 so we sent a text message enquiring about their well being. The two addresses are 15 minutes apart by road. They responded to say they were 10 minutes away, but did not arrive until after 11:57 (according to our phone records). Their reason was that they had been locked out of the building by someone removing their door-stop. That was accepted, however there could have been some contact in the 2 hours between when we left them and they arrived at the house. It took one hour for one man to unload most of the truck and bring our belongings in. The process to effect payment of the balance of the cost took upwards of 25 minutes to complete - check your records. We were aware, to an extent, of what was expected of us regarding payment, but not that it would cause work to effectively stop for 25 minutes (for which we were charged). There is the truth. Hi Brenda, In reply to your review, The removalist called your husband giving him a time of arrival, therefore you were notified. Your husband also paid the boys $50 tip for their hard work. I asked for bubble wrap but they have come with nothing but some blankets. Also overcharged me by 30 mins. I would not recommend them. Infact I got a quote from different company than the one I ordered online
