Yes, my business is fully insured for all the most important coverage that I should need to be running this business as a complete mobile service. How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I decided to get into this line of work, when I had spent so much volunteer work as a trainer in the obedience doggy schools and showing doggies. I also did a few years of clipping and grooming after being schooled by a grooming school. I wanted to be able to still spend all the time I could with doggies as well as be able to get out and about and meet people all at the same time.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

My favourite client is a beautiful Staffy called Koda. I have been going to give him his fortnightly hydrobath for over two years now. Koda knows the routine as well as I do and he looks forward to this special day. Koda knows the sound of my doggy wash car and I can hear him crying as I drive into his little culdesac. Koda  is always at the gate or waiting to be let out. He is so excited to see me as I am to see him, each and every time. I open up the hydrobath door and put the ramp down, then I proceed to plug the power in to heat the water. As I do this, Koda takes himself out, runs up the ramp, jumps in the tub and cries, waiting for me to come back to bath him. After we are done and he gets his treats, he gets out and waits for me. We go out the back and always play ball before I go to redo my water for my next doggy. Koda watches me go and cries, jumping up at the gate. I love this little guy !!!

What do you like most about your job?

What I particularly love about my job is getting out and about and meeting up with all my extended furry friends, as well as their owners who I become close friends with too. I also particularly love the end of the doggy bath when I let them out of the bath, after they have shared their shower with me by shaking all over me, when they run around like crazy as if they were new puppies just running amok, some are so silly.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Always ask what experience the person may or may not have. Some people may be a little wary of certain breeds of doggies. I myself have no problem with any kinds of doggies what so ever. They are all loveable and are always someone elses furry babies. I do not like to muzzle any of the doggies either. I find they are much better behaved and they do not panic if they trust you.

The most commonly asked question I get asked is from my new clients. The question that is asked is, "How often should I get you in to give my dog a hydrobath ? My reply to them is always, Some of my clients have their furry friend bathed every two weeks and others have theirs washed every four weeks. It really depends on each individual person and their situation. Your finances play a great part in your final decision. Also weather  your doggy is an inside pet or outside, and how great you would like him to smell.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

I am one of the most reliable and trustworthy people you could have to take on the job of pampering your beloved furry family member. I have a National Police Clearance that is up to date and also Working With Children's Clearance as I am fully mobile and am always every day visiting people's personal homes and their businesses to take care of their doggies. A great deal of the time there is nobody in attendance of these places, and I am fully trusted to have access to their codes and keys to to my job.

I think you should hire me to pamper your furry friend, rather than somebody else because I will treat your beloved doggy as an individual little person, just as if he or she was my very own little family member. I love spending my time with all of the doggies.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Before I give you a quote for my work it would be good to know what sort of doggy you have and most important to know the area in which you live, so I can let you know my availabilities. Please tell me the size of your doggy, although this does not really matter, so long as you know your breed, I will have a good idea. Also let me know if you have a long haired or a short haired doggy. And a rough day and time you would like to have the services done

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Clients can help themselves to save their money by keeping their furry friends brushed or raked through before or between their baths, especially the long haired doggies.  Try to detangle or clear the matting out of their fur. This also stops the sweating and the extra smells that may be caused by skin problems, allergies, vet diagnosed problems which may need special shampoos. Another hint is to ask for the discount if you have more than one doggy to have a bath. Tee up with a neighbor or a friend to have their doggy done at yours at the same time.

Oneflare customers and all other clients I do jobs for are always welcome to ask for the discount that I do provide if they have more than one doggy to be pampered at the same time at the same place. So while I am saving on my petrol and my time, I am happy to pass this saving on to you as a discount.

The price that I charge I think they are very fair prices compared to most others around. I have many people tell me I am far too cheap and much cheaper than most others. I am happy with my prices, just enough to cover my own costs. And best of all I get to spend the best time with all the doggies out there.

How do you normally charge for your service?

My charges for my services are per doggy, for the hydrobaths, depending on the type of dog, being small, medium or large, and weather they be long haired or short haired. I also charge a small extra fee for brushing if you would like this service on top.as for the pet feeding it is per furry friend and the boarding fees are per night per furry friend.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I specialise in the handling of any doggy really. I have no fear of them at all. I can get any doggy into the hydrobath and give them a wonderful hot tub, a massage and a clean. I am ever so gentle, talking to them all the time too. I also can walk your doggy for you if need be for an extra charge.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have 30 years of experience altogether with working with animals, training animals, etc, particularly the doggies of all breeds, shapes and sizes. I have trained through the obedience schools and been through the grooming school. I was trained many years ago to do proffesional  hydrobaths with a very well known franchise that I took on. They were one of the first chains to set up the mobile hydrobaths here in Australia. Now I have my own little business to take care of along with many many clients I share my experience with.
