Yes - we have full professional indemnity and public liability insurances. Our work is guaranteed to be completed in accordance with the Australian Standards for the inspection of buildings.

Is your building inspector: - Experienced in a building or construction trade? - Capable of delivering professional inspections and audits of the home? - Trained and accredited as a building inspector? - Going to complete the job in full accordance with the Australian Standards for the Inspection of Buildings? - Fully insured, with both professional indemnity and public liability cover?  A professional building inspector must answer yes to all of these questions or you should look elsewhere.

Together they aim to deliver the most professional inspections and reports, and also the highest level of customer service in the industry. We need to know the following: -Type of inspection required: standard structural, premium, timber pest or a combination. -Address of the property to be inspected. -How soon you need your inspection reports so we can schedule well ahead of your deadlines.

Don't be fooled into paying the cheapest fees. Make sure the inspector completes all his work in accordance with Australian Standards, is fully insured, is trained as a property inspector, will deliver a report you can actually understand, is available to talk/walk you through his findings, and does all this with excellent customer service. Our fees reflect that - nothing more and nothing less.

How do you normally charge for your service?

You will pay for the type of inspection required and the size of the property to be inspected. We are constantly benchmarking ourselves within our industry to ensure our fees are competitive, and if you find a cheaper quote for the same inspection we'd like to know about it!

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in pre-purchase residential property inspections: we understand there is often a very short window of time to get these inspections done and we will work with you, the sales agent and the vendor to ensure you receive your reports well within your settlement deadlines.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Clint is our lead building and pest inspector and comes with 15 years experience in the building and construction industries, and has worked as a licensed builder, supervisor and manager across a range of residential and commercial projects Australia-wide. Clint is trained and accredited by Housesafe Australia to carry out pre-purchase property inspections, and by MPL in Urban Pest Management - Timber Pest Inspections.  Marli runs our office and keeps all our systems and templates up to date, and will likely be your first point of contact when booking your inspection. She comes with 15 years of experience in customer service, client liaison, project management and construction site auditing and inspecting. Marli is now also carrying out our tax depreciation site assessments and rental property inspections.
