How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I was working as a CEO and had been for many years.  I was working 60+ hours per week.  My children had both left home and were grown up and my husband worked as a teacher.  I was then diagnosed with diabetes and knew that I had to change my lifestyle.  I left work and had a break to get my health better and then started working from home.  I have been doing it 8 years now and it feels like 2 weeks, I love it that much.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

One of our clients started their business in the June and had booked a 3-month holiday to Europe in the September.  Before they found us they had thought that there business would stop while they were away and then they would have to start again when they got back in December.  We put a team of virtual assistants in place who handled everything and when they returned they found that their income or business was still growing.  It was great to be able to help in this way.

My work gives me the control and freedom to balance my work and life commitments.  I am able to provide that type of freedom to my clients and I love that they benefit directly from the services we provide to their business.  Most small businesses work very long hours balancing their time between admin and marketing and actually delivering their services.  They create the business to have more quality time and in reality find very little.  My job gives them the time they envisaged when they first started their business and I just love seeing it all happen.

Imagine you have a team of office workers in offices next door to yours and they communicate through Skype or telephone.  That is how it works.  All the software is available remotely and if it isn't we can share it through easily accessible sharing software services.  We come with the knowledge so you don't have to worry about it.

This works well for simple things like sorting emails, answering calls or making appointments. 2)  Pay per project - this is where you have a beginning and an end for things like a website or facebook page set up.  We will agree on a price that meets your budget. 3)  A retainer or set number of hours per week.  We can talk about hours or outcomes to make sure your goals are being achieved.
