All our sitters have Public Liability Insurance for your peace of mind.it is mandatory for our line of work. We all have National Police Certificates for added security.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I personally had always had pets even as a child, loved them and was responsible for their care and feeding . As I grew older I was always asked to care for either neighbours pets or families pets. Do what you love and love what you do is my stance and I love my job !

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Accepted Answer

Too many to share - all our pets become part of our extended "Paws' family- but arriving at one pet sit one day to find the gate locked which had never been done on previous pet sits and we needed to borrow a ladder to climb the fence so the pet sit could be carried out and it was. We will never let your pet go uncared for !!

Meeting all the beautiful pets, getting to know them and knowing they look forward to seeing you every visit, Being referred by a very happy client because their pet has so happy and content when in our care.

Do you have insurance and police clearance ? Are you available in an emergency and do you work on all Public Holidays ? Do you offer a free meet and greet and how will you ensure my home and pets are kept safe ?

Are you available at this time ? - we are always available - being a family business we are always here for  all urgent requests and busy periods.Will my pet be ok when I am gone ? Suprisingly you will probably miss your pet more than they miss you, they are having too much fun with us !

Our track record, our great referrals from our repeat clientele, our clients travel more now that they have a reliable, professional and caring sitter. Knowing that we are available 24/7 365 days a years to care for their precious pets.

Our motto is "We care for your pets as if they are our own" which is exactly true. We show the same love , care and compassion for your pets when in our care as we do our own. Your pet is always our number one priority and we will always endeavour for your pet to be happy and content when being cared for by myself or one of  our experienced sitters .We never compromise the safety or care of your pets or your home .We want to care for your pet again and again !

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

We always need to know the type of care needed for your - daily , one or two visits or if your pets needs extra tlc and have us stay overnight. We also need to know the length of your care needed for your pet , if any extra service are required  and if you are a pensioner or have a Seniors card to be eligible for our discounted rate.

Always ask if there are any promotions ? Do you offer a pensioner discount ? Do you give Seniors discounts ? Booking ahead - sometimes there are early bird discounts !

if a booking goes ahead for more than 7 days pet sitting then we offer our "Pawsome Pack"/ This is where we will provide our client upon their return home fresh bread and milk of their own choice  to make their return home a little easier - this is for care in your own home.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We always offer discounts to our Seniors and Pensioners - 10 % discount of our very competitive rate  and often have promotions where we can offer 1 x free pet sit day and if care is for over 7 days then 10% discount will be offered - there is usually only 1 discount applied per pet sit unless stipulated in your quote.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We normally charge by a daily or overnight pet sit rate dependant on the number of pets and the services you require .For example your pet may require a longer walk than our standard 20 minute walk which is included in our daily rate so this would mean a small charge for this extra time.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We can care for your pet in our home or yours - dependant on your pets' need ! Our overnight stays in your home are our most popular service - aka our 'tuck in service '. Our clients love that we are there for their pets even in the middle of the night if needed, its' the next best thing to them being there and  we really are 'family".

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

We are experienced sitters with over 35 years caring for all companion pets. Plus our team has also cared for many rescue pets including the fostering of many and this gives us the edge when dealing with the shy or older or sick pets in our community.
