Playdate Pets carries Public and Product Liability insurance for all our Pet Carers, this means pets in our care are fully covered. All Pet Carers are experienced, undergo thorough police and reference checking, and are constantly monitored in the field.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Kaylene -  Having come from a nursing background, helping people and pet caring is something that has come naturally to me.  I’ve enjoyed growing up with pets, and caring for pets my children rescued along the way and brought home for me to look after(!) . I also volunteer in my spare time at the local RSPCA as a Grooming Assistant.

Satisfaction comes from having the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of family pets and being able to care for them when you can’t.  Life gets busy - feel rest assured that your loved furry family members are in our safe care enjoying playtime, cuddles, tummy rubs and plenty of exercise.  We have their best well being at all times. We live and breathe our slogan of loving your pets like family.

Although we can initially provide a general quote, in order to fully understand your pet’s needs Kaylene will arrange a free private consultation with you to ensure the right care is customised to suit your individual requirements.

We will work in harmony with you and your pet(s) to ensure the right care is provided; whether it be dog walking or visiting your pet(s) in your home for cuddles, playtime and feeding - just as you would if you were home.

Our business has a Client Portal which in turn allows payment via invoice (payment can be made at time of booking or when invoice arrives) paid through online banking.

Playdate Pets offer in-home pet visits, dog walking, pet minding for your furry or feathery family member(s) - nothing is too hard. We have a genuine love for pets so working with them is what we enjoy most.

Kaylene (Pack Leader) has lovingly owned and cared for a variety of pets (cats, birds and dogs of small to large breeds) for 15+ years and is professionally certified, having completed a 'Pet Sitting' course.
