  The wedding we had was not okay with her at all. The audience can’t hear watch she was saying in front during the whole ceremony also in the video that was taken during the wedding. We had comments after the ceremony from guests that it’s like a bee buzzing in front and they can’t hear her clearly. She should have checked the microphone first prior to the ceremony as it’s part of the package having her own PA system. When I marched down the aisle, I asked after the ceremony why nobody was standing… my parents said and some guests say they weren’t given instructions to stand up to honor the bride. She also forgot about what we had rehearsed regarding the gift giving ceremony by the mother of the groom letting my husband’s mom embarrassed herself standing there at the middle while we were given instructions to walk on the side to sign the contract. Yes, this made us very upset. It’s a lifetime to remember and it’s on our video to see as well as for our families in the future and it’s upsetting that nobody can hear what the celebrant said during the ceremony.

  Hello Renee, I am sorry that the audio was not clear, however, I used the PA system provided by the venue and as suggested by Mahesh. I had no control of their system and was not aware of any issues. As the celebrant, my microphone was not wired up by the videographer which may have assisted in the audio being heard. I did ask the guests to stand as far as I was aware. I do apologise that I forgot the presentation of the gift and caused any embarrassment to your mother in law.
