Thanks so much Kerry.  Roxy is doing well and is such a relaxed, as much as she can be, dog.  Reference: When I searched the internet to find a pet minder for my beautiful Japanese Spitz Roxy I never thought I would find a friendly, helpful, understanding, highly passionate animal lover as Kerry.   Within minutes I could tell how much she knew about animal behaviour and how much she loved them, just in her voice.  I was not disappointed when I asked her to come and meet Roxy and maybe help me with some behavioural issues we were experiencing. When she arrived we had the best time discussing what was going on with Roxy and why she did the things she did, almost pre-empting what Roxy was doing as a consequence to my actions and tone of my voice.   Within minutes Kerry had Roxy doing exactly what ‘I’ wanted her to do and thus making me more confident and Roxy more relaxed.   You have to understand what Roxy was like, very hyper, extremely sensitive to loud noises and a real excitable dog when it came to her daily walks.    She now waits for  me to put her collar & leash on without a fuss, stops barking after only telling her once or twice to ‘be quiet’, and sits at the back door before coming in to the house, where before she would jump and bark and cry for a long while before she would settle down. I could go on and on and on…but I won’t.    Experience it for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. Pets!  What we enjoy most is creating a service that is the best for pets and seeing them happy, healthy and safe. A home-style pet care allows pets to stay away from 'mass boarding' situations - when in a home environment a pet is safer, less stressed, and more confident and content!

Are you trained in pet care? Have you trained professionally in Pet First Aid (& animal behaviour) Do you have signs on your cars and on uniforms ? (If they do - it means neighbours & also thieves and vandals will know you aren't home too!) Do you have Public Liability Insurance (And ask to see a copy of the 'certificate of currency')

How can we trust someone in our home and to look after our home and pets? We have a complete carer engagement process that ensures we only have the very best carers on our team! ALL carers must qualify to become cares with us, they start by applying, and then must complete a 3 module training and induction process (which includes understanding and agreeing to our Policies and Procedures, all contractual obligations and Pet First Aid (& Animal behaviour basics) Training. Signing off on our contracts, providing us with a Police Background Check plus ABN means we do all our due diligence that means only the best get through,  Over 80% of applicants never make it through - so we only take those who have the diligence, competency and consistency we demand.  We only get the best carers!

All of us are trained in pet care - Pet First Aid trained to a minimum national standard, and we always put the safety and health of your pets first, and always maintain your security and privacy. Unlike other services we NEVER advertise our presence - No signs on vehicles or uniforms that could attract the attention of vandals or thieves! Your PRIVACY, SECURITY and SAFETY should come first! If they have signs advertising their presence and that you must be away - don't take the risk!  Trust us to be safer and not sorry! :)

1. Make sure you use a professional service - With Trained, Security and Privacy conscious, caring professionals 2. Do NOT engage a company that advertises on their vehicles or wears uniforms - a service in YOUR home which is clearly about care when you are AWAY - can be costly - your privacy and security should be MORE important to a service provider than cheap advertising at the expense of your security! 3. Public Liability insurance should be current at the time of the service you need - make sure they are current! Hope this helps! :)

All pets have different needs.   So, we offer a solution for pet minding that takes into account that all pets have different needs.   We work with you to find what will work for you and for your pets needs.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Services are charged on a 30 min, 45 min or 60 min increments when walks or visits. Overnight stays are charged per night  Daily rates are charged when pets stay with carers! Call for a quote per service!
