By law we must have a professional indeminaty insurance of a minimum of $500000.00 we also carry full business insurance and all work is guarenteed.

The joy of relieving some one of the worry of how they have gone with their tax. Many have the fear that they are behind and owe the Tax Office large sums of money. It is our practice to claim the most that we are able to do so legally.

The most common question that should be asked is are you a Registered Tax Agent and what is your registration number, also to ask if the Agent has Professional Indeminty Insurance, this should not be a problem now as the Tax Agents Registration Board demands all details of the Insurance Policy before renewing or issuing a registration to any Tax Agent

The most common question is how can I claim more in my tax return? The answere is simple keep all receipts for all purchases for work for the whole year.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

We always arrive at the time of the appointment, if the appointment time needs to be changed then we always contact all our clients who have appointments that day and transfer their appointment to a time and date that suits them. We also contact our next appointment by phone if for some reason that is out of our control that we may be arriving late to the appointment. I personally tend to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the appointment time.

We are a mobile accounting practice which visits its clients where they feel the most comfortable. After a numbert of years working for some of the shopfront Tax Agents here in Adelaide I have noticed that in some cases tax refunds were held up due to insufficant inlfokrmation being brought to the office to complete the tax returns for up to a year.

Full details of all income and expenses  as well as full name and address along with a current tax fole number and if in business a current Australian Business Number (ABN).

1   The main problem is in a total of all the claims that need to made  2   Ensuring all claims totals are in in groups such as Telephone, uniforms, repalce of tools and any new plant and equipment as sepertate items  3  Any additional information such as Rental claims as for our rental worksheet to be sent to you when making an appointment (so as to forfil the ATO's requirements)

What makes your pricing competitive?

In most cases we are able to tell the client the full cost for their tax returns at the time that an appointment is made by the questions that we ask to make the appointment. This includes what type of accounting or record keeping is used to provide us whith the figures that are required to complete the tax returns in the first visit.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Personal Tax Returns have a flat fee of $135.00 this year (2012 tax return) with additional $44.00 for any Capital Gains calculations and $50.00 for a rental property, these are all GST inclusive. Business and small Partnership Tax Returns there is a base fee of $195.00 (where it can be completed one the first visit, additional costs may arise if we have to orgainise all data into a usable format). Company and Trust Tax Returns are on an hourly basis of $330.00 per hour.

Our Accounting, and Tax Agent practice visits all clients where they are the most comfortable to complete their tax returns. We can complete tax returns for Indivduals, Contractors, Sub Contractors, Partnerships and small Companies alon witn Trust. It is the the joy of giving our clients the best outcome possible that gives us our greatest thrill.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have been a Registered Tax Agent since 1987 and commenced my own practice soon after being registered as a Tax Agent. Currently I attend over tax and business seminars a year as well as at least twice that number of confrences and webinars in the year, where possible I also attend all the Australian Tax Office updates when avaliable. We also offer an ongoing business advice where requested and needed.
