I have always been interested in technology. I started my Electronic Security Apprenticeship in Brisbane in 2006 as technology was rapidly changing from Analogue to Digital / IP.

Q: Should we install wireless detectors or wireless cameras? A: Wireless devices should only be used if wiring is not possible. Wireless devices often do not perform as well and require regular battery replacements. Q: What monitoring options do you provide? A: Back to base or self monitoring.

- Size and type of building such as number of stories and contruction type e.g Brick, Concrete, Wood - Access to cable pathways such as ceiling tiles, manholes, roof crawl space etc. - Number of devices required such as detectors, keypads, cameras, reed switches etc.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

- If cabling is required, investigate where cables can be run inside the building and where there is ceiling access etc. - If an app is require make sure you know the passwords to the Router, Apple Store, Play Store etc. - Provide as much details as possible before we attend. Photos are great!
