We are insured via CGU for all business cover and this is a requirement to maintain Tax Agent Registration and Accountant membership. We guarantee our work to be of a professional standard and we will fix any matter that is brought to our attention that may require alteration

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I enjoy helping those in business understand their obligations as a business owner and comply with these obligations for a reasonable fee. For individuals I enjoy seeing their satisfaction when they see things are being done correctly for them and a higher income tax refund than they expected.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

Accepted Answer

A client was assessed as receiving money from overseas as taxable income. The assessment was adjusted and created a tax bill in excess of $65,000. After many phone calls and emails and a space of eleven months we were able to convince the Taxation Office that they had it wrong. The adjustment was reversed together with interest and charges. We never gave up and we have a very happy client.

"How much will it cost" We discuss the work required to be done, cover the details, and explain the complexity of the various tasks and cover the staff who will do the work. "How long will it take" We advise when the job will start, ensure all the material is on hand and provide a finish date.

Business structure is first item for those in business, type of business operation, details of accounting software if one is used, looking for ongoing services or a one off consultancy or preparation of annual income tax return.

Have receipts sorted in expense Categories and have log book if claiming work related travel If you have a Rental property-receipts for what you paid + year end agent report and depreciation schedule if available List of Donations, medical insurance year end report, consider internet & mobile

We offer visit to your office or home at no additional charge and visits/appointments after 6pm by arrangements. If you are an early riser we can meet you in our office before 8am to discuss requirements

Our services are charged on an hourly basis however if the clients require and ongoing service we can discuss a "fixed" price that is acceptable to both parties. This can be arranged after we understand what is required by you, the business operator.

The person you will be dealing with is a qualified Accountant, a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (FIPA), a Fellow of the National Tax & Accountants Association (FNTAA) and a Registered Tax Agent. So you will be receiving an All Round Service for your dollar.
