How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My own marriage was long and wonderful. Weddings are my favourite celebration and I cannot think of another event in a person's life I would rather be involved in. I love weddings.

Sometimes the smallest of weddings - just the marrying couple and their witnesses - are just as beautiful and special as the packed church weddings. Each wedding is individual and it is my job to make it special for you. Each wedding is my favourite.

I want to be married on (date provided): I can tell you immediately if that date is available and lock it in for you. What do you cost? I promise to give you excellent service for a very competitive fee. What if I want to marry out of your area: I am able to perform weddings anywhere in Australia. And I am always open to discuss your ideas.

Commitment. From the first consultation to the end of your special day, Shari is available to you. Shari's first priority is to make you feel at ease about your day. Together we will plan and make your ceremony not only one to be remembered but everything you want it to be.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

When and where the wedding is to take place. Then I can notify you immediately if your chosen date is available and lock it in so no other bookings will be taken for that day. Where you plan to have your wedding. How far is it to travel. Is there any special ceremonies you want included.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Go through guest list and see if they can cut down anywhere. Flowers: Use more greenery than flowers. Include non-floral centre pieces such as sea shells or fruit. Drinks: Offer beer, wine and signature cocktail instead of full bar

Professionalism, personality and of course cost are the things to consider. Depending on where and when your wedding is to take place will reflect in the pricing quoted but I think you will find our fees to be pleasantly competitive. We also have a special offer for Oneflare customers. To make very certain you know your full costs and what is included in that fee we give you a statement of fees, spelling out everything for you.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Cost is always an important consideration and you want the best for your day. I try to be fair and competitive. I give excellent service for a very competitive fee. The charge is a one-off amount including GST so there are no other costs involved.

I am a qualified Civil Celebrant holding a Certificate IV in Celebrancy. I also participate in Ongoing Professional Development each year to keep abreast of any changes in the industry. I am a Justice of the Peace (Qualified).
