  Julie Alexander helped me a lot as I had a very uncaring real estate agent for my rental property. She managed the best my rental property but, I have now decided to live in it. However, I will contact her again, if I decide to sell in the future. She is very knowledgeable in many aspects. I just wish all real estate agents are like her then, it would be smooth sailing. I highly recommend Julie Alexander to everyone. I’m back and adding to this review because I don’t think I gave Julie Alexander a thorough review, being very very busy. Again, I wish all real estate agents would be like her. She paid attention to every little thing that my previous agent couldn’t be bothered about. She spent so much time in helping me rectify the problems created by my previous agent. Julie would even work outside the office hours, when I needed her help urgently. Julie, again, many thanks.

  I came to Shepherd Realty after a disastrous run with another company who rented my properties out to labour hire companies resulting in a revolving door of 'tenants' who treated the property like a backpackers hostel. Rent was collected inconsistently and property repairs (as a result of the property being a new build) were not followed up and actioned. I learnt of Shepherd Realty through a suggestion from my accountant. Within a matter of months Shepherd Realty turned around the tenancy situation and I now have stable tenants who look after the property and pay their rent on time. They have also chased up the developers and had all outstanding building defects remediated. The amount of work that Shepherd Realty had to do to resolve the issues created by the previous management team was significant, much more than would be expected for an incoming property manager. I would highly recommend Shepherd Realty to anyone who wanted solid, stable and accountable property management for the properties.

It was challenging to start with dealing with the old Tenants and moving them on but so rewarding to bring the property back to a near new state and then find great tenants with good values that wouldn't dream of doing the wrong thing by the Owner or ourselves.
