We follow a scientifically proven method called Concept Training. Concept Training is based on neuroscience and instead of teaching behaviours individually, it teaches the dog skills to navigate around their world through games, utilising what lights them up as rewards! We train FOR the situation, not IN the situation. What does this mean? We wouldn’t run a marathon without working on our endurance and performance beforehand, then how can we expect our dogs to be able to act the way we want them to act, no matter what life throws at them, if we don’t teach them how to? So, we teach them the ‘how to’s first. Skill Up My Pup is proudly a PPGA member who is committed to an evidence based force free behaviour approach.

I'm really grateful to her. I didn't know how to play with my dog or how to train it. But thanks to her coming, he learned a lot of things. This is not the usual brute force training. We use games that focus on the instinctual nature of dogs. Thanks to this, my dog and I now have a very good relationship.
