We have LawCover professional indemnity insurance.  if you are not satisfied by our work we remove the profit component from our charge, so that you are fully compensated for any perceived lack of service.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I am interested in property, have a sound knowledge of securities law, relate well to people and have high level administrative skills.  My business experience and my knowledge of strata legislation and dispute management seemed to make conveyancing a natural fit.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

My firm acted for a self-represented builder in circumstances where the builder had trashed our client's bathroom and contested Fair Trading's orders to rectify the work and provide compensation.  It transpired that the builder used a law firm behind the scenes and had been before the Tribunal on over 120 occasions, with no reference to these proceedings on his licence record.  Our client, a single woman, contested his position at significant cost but then achieved appropriate orders, damages and costs.  Legal costs are rarely awarded in Tribunal actions.

Our pricing is competitive because clients appreciate planned outcomes, regular communication, relevant information and known timelines.  A reasonable and market fee for professional services makes us "price competitive".

We endeavour to provide a value driven service which means keeping a weather eye on market forces but not cutting any corners where service and expertise is concerned.  That is, we prefer to have professionals service the clients as opposed to having less qualified and experienced personnel look after files.

We focus on doing a good job, having efficient practises and procedures, achieving the expected outcome and being good communicators.  We want to minimise surprises.  We recognise that a home is often and individual's or couples' largest asset and one which they will have some time often at significant expense over a number of years.  A purchase or sale with attendant moving is often a stressful period in one's life - we seek to minimise that stress by working to gain your confidence from the manner in which the work is handled.
