Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are insured for any breaks up to $40000.00 and we provide this free of charge. Excess is $500.00 and we guarantee any problems will be taken care of in a timely manner. Unlike some insurances our insurance covers your furniture while its in our care not just while its in transit.  We also have pulic liability insurance.

Some of the common problems we hear from people are that they have been over charged for hidden costs. Some of these are Depot charges, heavy lifting fee's, GST.   Truck size is another common problem where the client has either forgotton to add items or the removalist has not factored the size of some furniture.  Asking about truck size and hidden fee's can save people alot of stress and confussion on the day.  Customers should always ask for a written quote which includes all fees and truck size.

Common questions we are normally asked about are  insurance and payment options.    We have a great insurance policy which covers our clients for any break up to $40000.00. This cover is better than your normal transit cover in that it covers our customers furniture for the entire move while its in our care and not just for trasit.  Payments for the removal work can be made by either credit card or cash on the day and after the client is happy  the job has been completed.

We have a very robus booking system for all of our moves this makes very reliable on the day or your move and makes sure we never overbook. We aso allow extra time for each job and have extra staff to help if needed.  All staff are fully trained and capable to do the job at hand, we constantly ask clients how the move went after our staff have finished and act accordingly to their feedback. Basic things we like to know are house size, pick up and drop off points, access and the date the move is intended for. Inventory lists are great for a more precise quote but we are happy to talk to clients about what needs to be done.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

The Obvious one would be to help our staff on the day even if its just bring small items out to the truck this will help speed things up.   Having things already broken down i.e beds tables etc will help save time and money as well.    The third thing we would suggest is making sure all loose items are packaged in boxes (pots and pans, dvd players, ornaments etc.) or taped together (brooms, rakes garden tools etc.) as a removalist packing a truck is easier and take less time when these things are pack properly.

We like to think outside the box. Our charges are normally based on an hourly rate but we also provide set rate and even Capped rates. Our Client's have the choice of paying by cash or credit card.

All of our staff have been through a trial period where they have been given extensive training while working with our more experience staff, after which they start work as an off sider. All of our staff at the current time have over 6 months experience with our more experienced staff having over ten years in the industry.
