Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are a fully registered and licensed business. We guarrantee our work but must point out that once the customer has taken possesion of one of our products we cannot be held responsible for the damages caused by poor handling or accidents out of our control.  We do not accept returns of edible goods unless our management honestly believes the item was faulty before delivery or pick up

At sweet madness cake designs we use only the freshest, natural ingredients. we use organic ingredients where possible, and do not use any artificial colours of flavours in our products. We focus on the artistry of the cake as well as the flavour and pay special attention to detail.  We have introduced low sugar, gluten free, egg free and dairy free products as well.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

What is your budget? How much are you realistically willing to spend on your cake? Remember that a custom cake is not a "store bought" commercial item. It is hand made specifically for you freshly baked and made to order. At sweet madness cake designs we do not use comercial mixes. We scratch bake.

Please let us know what is your budget before asking for a quote. When pricing a cake we take into account the type of ingredients (as sometimes we use imported organic products when local produce is not available), the different possible techniques that can be used, the amount of time required to produce the cake decorations, the quality and high standard of the work provided (the artistry of the cake, etc) and the materials, time, cost to get to the final product.  It is absolutely fundamental that we know how much you are willing to spend on your ake so that we can adjust accordingliy. As i have read somewhere else "you can't buy a mercedes for the price of a fiat"

We offer free delivery to areas 15km around croydon hills and free delivery to all orders over $250. Our set up fee is minimal. These fees always end up bringing your cake cost over your budget so we have minimilised them for you at sweet madness cake designs.

Here at sweet madness cakes we believe in providing a cake experience for almost every budget. Our high end decorated cakes start at $150, cupcake toppers range from just $0.50 to $5, cake toppers start at $30.
