Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

I have Public Liability Insurance and can guarantee my work.  I use only the best quality paints and products that conform to industry standards and maintain hygienic practices. My hair wraps are guaranteed to last 3 months; they are carefully made and and I provide written suggestions of the simple care to maintain them safely.

What do you like most about your job?

I love face painting, children, parties, beads, colour, decorations, fun, imagination, funny, playful, spontaneous, happy, hair jewellery, bling, people and animals, music and party food. I love being a face painting, hair wrapping, traveling, party person who will do my best to enhance your celebration with glitter and sparkles, colour and creativity, dragons and superheroes.  I will put on fairy wings, paint the special party person uniquely for a photo opportunity, take a photo & message it and leave a clean space. I love to join in singing happy birthday, repaint the kids who went for a swim and paint the adults who can’t resist.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

I am friendly and love children and have a great many designs for boys, girls and children of all ages. I am able to travel all over the metro area and can arrange for a team of artists if needed:  Let me arrange a team of talented face paint artists for your event or I can put a hand selected team of face painters, henna artists and hair wrappers together at reasonable rates if ample notice is given.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Please provide the number of people to be face painted or hair wrapped to determine the quote. In general I can paint 12 to 15 full faces per hour.  The address of the venue and the times to start and finish... I will arrive 10 - 15 minutes early to set up  When preparing space for artists please ensure there is shelter from the weather.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

Accepted Answer

I offer discounts and specials from time to time especially between Monday & Friday and during winter so please ask what discounts are available when you call or text. If you have a small group heading to a theme party such as Halloween, St Patrick's Day or Valentines etc, i offer individual service and customized face and body paint to enhance each costume.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I paint 12 - 15 children in an hour and always use glitter and the highest quality face and body paints available. Hair wraps or hair jewellery takes about 20 - 30 minutes to wrap on to a lock of hair, once the person has chosen their preferred colors.  If a small group of friends would like hair wraps, we can keep costs to a minimum and meet at any suitable venue.

How do you normally charge for your service?

My rate is $70 per hour but i am willing to negotiate and discuss the best arrangements for each event.  The hair wraps are $1.50 per cm and last for a minimum of 3 month with minimal care. If a small group of people would like hair jewelery, we can keep costs to a minimum and save money.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I offer face painting and /or hair wrapping at children's parties, festivals, shopping centres and celebrations and am also happy to work with charities or with fund raising for selected causes. I have excellent attention to detail and am proud of my work and the positive feedback. My hair wraps are unique and 'different' and attract a great deal of interest at festivals.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have been hair wrapping and face painting for many years and continue to build my skills, attend workshops practice and work regularly. I have traveled the world with these skills and found my talents were very well received. I made hair wraps in Fremantle in the early 1990s and wish to keep this art alive by showing our younger generation the beauty, uniqueness, uses and care of the hair jewellery.
