Moving some furniture before we get there, taking curtain and blinds off, taking pictures and frames off the walls, the less time we spend on moving furniture around the more savings we can pass onto you.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
the areas that need painting, which days of the week the customer will allow us to work, if they are interested in particular product other the major brands that we use. How many colors they are using in the building.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I started the painting as part time job 23 years ago and began to like it alot and learned everything so quick. before i know it I became a licensed painter in 4 years , and a supervisor a few short years later, handling large painting works for major painting company in Sydney and I started my own business.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
there are few great story's to tell, but the best one I think is when one of my clients decided to surprise his wife by getting the house painted while his wife was away, he just didnt know what color to choose for each area, we offered to help him with all colors and had to do the job in just 3 days ', when his wife came home we were still doing the last touch ups and cleaning up, she was sooo happy that she started crying and hugging the husband and thanking all of us, it was a sweet moment to watch how both of them were so happy.
What do you like most about your job?
to be able to transform a building by adding few colors and make a big difference to the look of it meeting different people all the time traveling to different areas and not being stuck in the same place for years and most of all the happy face of a customer when the job is done.
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
most important is what preparations the painter is offering and how is he going to do it? what products will be used and how many coats of paint is being applied? are they going to prime any areas if its needed? what kind of warranty they getting? what time frame the job will be done in? would the painter supply any references phone no?
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
What products we are using? the answer is: we use all the good well known brands such as Dulux, wattyle , Taubmans but we always recommend the best ones for the project, how ever as we supply expert advise , our clients have the rights to choose which brand they want used if they prefer.
