    not happy. i have to hire someone else to finish the job now. they did general cleaning like the main areas but i hired them to do bond cleaning. they came back to fix the job but the contractor they sent wasnt very interested in completing the job. the agent asked us to redo the cleaning now.

There are a number of issues raised for you to attend to. Please refer to the confirmation email received by Rahul to understand what was and was not charged for. I understand you have indicated you do not was to do external windows, blinds and pavements etc. If you don’t attend to those items though Smiley the agent is going to charge you a considerable amount. Kind Regards Michelle The job was booked by Rahul however our interactions thereafter were with his wife Smiley. Rahul booked the job on the basis that he would do curtains or blinds, exterior of the property and garage or carport as well as garden etc. This was agreed to at the time of booking and in the confirmation email Rahul received. They are items that we suggest everyone do themselves as a means of saving money. As the above email sent to Rahul's wife indicates, on the cleaners arrival at the property none of those items had been done by Rahul. When blatant items aren't done it tends to annoy property managers sent to do inspection. On inspection the agent found some minor items for our cleaner plus a number of issues for Rahul. Our cleaner re-attended the following day and attended to the minor items. There was, I assume, miscommunication between Rahul and his wife or a disagreement as to which one of them was going to do the items agreed to at the time of booking. Moving is tiring and stressful and everyone's had enough by the time they get to unpacking at the other end. Unfortunately when people fail to do these items it tends to annoy the agent so they tend to even more rigorous in their inspection. Going through the vacating process can be easy or hard. It starts most importantly with the entry condition report and ends with accepting what is your responsibility and attending to it. I hope Rahul and his wife have a smooth move next time after this experience.

    Our end of lease bond clean by Tenants Cleaners was an expensive disappointment. Our cleaning lady, Chrissy, although a lovely and sweet woman, missed a lot of simple things that should not have been missed. The doorframes were not wiped down, every cupboard and drawer in the kitchen was not wiped down and still had dust within it, the ensuite bathroom walls werent spot cleaned, and the cupboards were also not wiped down. Light switches were left dusty and the light fixture in the kitchen was also not cleaned. A list of obvious things that could have been done but weren't. After my managing agent contacted me today to discuss the condition of cleaning, I phoned Tenants Cleaners and spoke with Michelle who was immediately defensive and tried to change the subject saying I must lodge for a bond refund - had nothing to do with my call. I mentioned to her that my managing agent picked up that the ceilings hadnt been spot cleaned and she retorted with "We dont do ceilings" and then I knew it was going to be a fight I have no energy for amidst a stressful move. Not to mention that prior to the "bond clean", we spent time thoroughly cleaning the balcony and blinds as Tenant Cleaners advised this was not in their scope and we also ensured to vacuum the place and leave it in a good state so that the cleaner wouldnt have to work too hard! For $600, I would have hoped for more. I paid my hard earned money for something I had to go back to rectify anyway. It was disheartening to spend a full day at work and then have to return to an apartment I paid to be cleaned only to clean it myself for a second time. At least this way, less fighting and peace of mind knowing my husband and I did a thorough job. Simply put, do not use Tenants Cleaners.

    At the time of booking Katya indicated she was stressed as she had an extremely difficult on-site manager. Unfortunately a not uncommon story. Katya had caused damage to the paintwork at the property, her partner was at the property doing repairs when the cleaner arrived. I assume that added to her stress levels. We forwarded Katya a Form 14A Exit condition report so she could note all pre-existing items as well as an online Bond Release form so she could protect her bond. Katya contacted us yesterday to advise the on-site manager was at the property and complained that there were bug marks on the ceiling, she mentioned no other issues. We advised Katya that we do not wash ceilings. Ceiling paint watermarks and washing it causes damage. Bug marks on the ceiling Indicates the property was not adequately screened. More an issue for the owner than Katya. We asked Katya to forward us a copy of the Form 14A if needed and we would have the cleaner return as agreed at the time of booking. Katya has not contacted us since and has not sent the Form 14A. Katya had pets at the property, we ask that everyone with pets do a vacuum to remove excess pet hair if needed. We ask this as a matter of fairness. Katya was charged $600 to clean her apartment, clean her carpets and perform licensed pest control. Our prices are certainly not high relative to other cleaners, however moving costs always add up. We will wait to hear further from Katya if she would like our cleaner to return, it was only yesterday that she contacted us.

    Unfortunately Sarah did not notify us of the missed fan or any other items. On arriving at Sarah’s property the cleaner found Sarah completely unprepared. Her children and 3 dogs and 4 cats were inside the property along with bags of rubbish and belongings. Sarah had been let down by friends who offered to help her out. The walls were spot cleaned as quoted, walls only need washing if a problem has been caused. We don’t wash walls nor charge to do so just for the sake of it. Our position is always to not waste people’s money doing things that they don’t need to. It is a big job that is rarely required,. If our cleaner missed any minor items she would have returned without charge, not an issue. If we are not notified, we really can’t do anything.
