How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have been a remedial massage therapist for a number of years now and I find it extremely rewarding. Years of sitting at a desk as a personal assistant taught me the benefits of massage - and years of study and experience means that I can now help people by providing professional therapies to get them moving again.

My days are full of victories and I'm able to have a positive impact on people's lives. Plus, being that we are located in the beautiful surroundings of Tecoma, even the drive to work is pleasant!

Please notify The Muscle Joint upon booking if there is any chance you are pregnant or of any other special circumstances (such as allergies, disorders, injuries or medications) as this can affect treatment.  Underwear is to be worn at all times.  We maintain a strict Health and Hygiene Policy at The Muscle Joint and this must be adhered to at all times.  We encourage pre-showering to avoid oil contamination and hygiene issues.  We reserve the right to refuse entry.

Q:  Is there an age restriction? A:  At The Muscle Joint we are qualified to massage all age levels, including infants and pregnant women, however anyone under the age of 18 requires parental consent / supervision.  Q:  What is the difference between remedial massage and relaxation massage? A:  Remedial massage is a complete structured therapy system designed to aid in recovery from a wide range of symptoms resulting in physical pain or muscle fatigue. Case analysis from assessments and ongoing treatments are often required to treat the cause of muscular discomfort / pain.  hygiene and privacy are paramount

There are certain factors we take into account when providing quotes for customers such as availability, frequency and duration so it is important to be as specific as possible or feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements so we can provide you with the most accurate and competitive quote.

Be specific when booking your appointment to ensure the most appropriate therapist and treatment is provided. Be punctual. The Muscle Joint is by appointment only (cancellation fees may apply). Hydrate! Massages can be physically demanding so be sure to arrive hydrated or enjoy one of our refreshing beverages on arrival.

We accept cash and have EFTPOS facilities (including PayPass) and direct deposit is available for corporate invoicing. We are registered with major health fund providers.
