How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have loved being around pets and caring for pets since I can remember.  I have over 10 years experience caring for a wide range of pets from as small as a mice to as big as horses and cows.  I have always wanted to make a life out caring for pets so I started my own pet sitting business, it was the best decision I have ever made. I have only ever dreamt of working with animals and starting my own business and here I am.

What do you like most about your job?

What we most like about the job is that every day is different, there is no day that is the same.   We try to keep your pet/s happy and comfortable by doing lots of different activities each day, whether it may be, hide and seek, movie and snuggles day, hiking, going on long walks around the farm, playing in the dams or rivers or taking them on a day full of adventure, it is different each day.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

A customer should always ask whatever questions they feel as though needs to be asked, we like to ensure every customer is comfortable and can trust us before letting their pet/s stay at our house so we love to be asked all the questions in the world! It is a great way for a new customer to get an understanding of how their pet/s will be cared for (always cared for like royalty) and what the plans are when they are with us!

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

Reliability - We 100% ensure that every customer is cared for as well as there pet. If you call at 3:00am and tell us you need your pet picked up ASAP, we will be there.  Although we take pride in the way we look each day, don't judge if we look homeless it's 3:00am, we've just rolled out of bed and jumped in the car!  Trustworthiness - We make sure that you are completely comfortable and trusting of us, as leaving your pet with a stranger is a heart wrenching thing sometimes. But just know, this is your pets home away from home.

We don't see this business as a competition to other pet sitters, as each pet sitter has a different way of doing things and different types of services available to customers.   As all pet sitters would say, the animals always come first!

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

Depending on which service you would like, we start from a simple feed (10-15 minutes), check in (30 mins - 1 hr), Day Care (9 hrs), Overnight Stay (15 hrs) and our Livestock Care ($25 per hour)

We sure as hell specialize in the cuddle times, we love a good cuddle with all animals that come to us!
