  We hired Those Local Guys to move us very recently. I can't say enough good things about the guys that moved us. They moved us in 4.5hrs and we have ALOT of stuff. It rained 90% of the time and they worked through it, I had to ask them to stop at one point as I was concerned about their safety on the metal ramp 😅 The whole team including the office staff were amazing. I hope I don't have to move for quite a while, but when I do - I'll definitely be using this team again.

  Terrible horrible experience. The only positive experience was the drivers who turned up. Not their fault they were only doing what they were advised. Turned up late with a truck that would not even fit my items in as they had someone else’s furniture on it. I had contacted them days before the job and clearly explained that I would have more items than I first thought just as a courtesy & to make sure the truck was big enough. Told me they would return Saturday & was asked if the truck wasn’t big enough would it be ok if they stored it at their depot for a few weeks. Well that shocked me & I Clearly told them I would only agree if it was my outdoor furniture that would be stored. The truck turned up on the Saturday which would only fit my boxes meaning ALL of my furniture would have to be stored! Couldn’t believe it. Who asks someone who is relocating 2 hours away to store their furniture when they are moving house?? The owner lied to me & then tried to turn it around on me by trying to gaslight me! Then to top it off, the second load which would have been stored if I agreed was going to cost me another $600 to deliver it!!! These guys make the shonky brothers look like a legitimate business. This whole experience has had a domino effect with the new people moving into my house as I had to then organise another removalist and move 5 days later. The people moving in are also from Victoria so it’s really affected a lot of people. Thankfully I found a reputable removalist who have been in contact with me since I found them as they knew what a terrible experience I had and we have agreed on a price which was quite a few hundred dollars less than The shonky guys. If you’re willing to be lied to, gaslighted & willing to pay way too much for your move that may or may not happen, then Those Local Guys are perfect for you. There’s a whole lot more I could say about the different things that happened while communicating with them, but they are not worth my time. Wasted too much energy posting this review. Only posting as I would hate to see the same thing happen to someone else.
