How did you decide to get into your line of work?

My daughter Tracy came up with the idea of starting a pet care business back 8 years ago.  I assisted where necessary to get more people knowing about our business and then decided to take on a full time role in the business.  I have always loved animals and find that pets always seem to trust me.

I love building trust with my clients in caring for their pet/s and this comes with the clients being impressed with your care of their pet/s. coming home to happy contented pets, a clean home and having communication through text messages throughout the care.

The other question often asked what type of care -  which we are normally able to accommodate, as we have 3 types. Cost is another question which I can calculate for them quickly.

We are a trustworthy caring reliable pet care business who have been in business for 8 years. We are based at Malvern, but have ten Pet Carers that are situated in different parts of Adelaide. We have 3 types of care - Pet Sitting, Pet Visits, Pet Home Boarding as well as Dog Walking & Pet Transportation. All Pet Carers have a Police Clearance and been carefully selected and trained to be aware of our high standard of care to pets we care for.

We need to know what type of care is best for your pet/s and we will happily give the alternatives we have. We need to know the dates of the care needed, the type and number of pets and what suburb you reside in.

As we meet all new clients at a Free No Obligation Consultation, we advise of our discount for 7 days or over for all care.  If the care is for an extended period of time, we give a higher discount.  Regular dog walking gets a discount if client pays for 10 sessions of walks at a time.

Our pricing is competitive, as we are aware of what other pet businesses are charging for similar services to what we offer.  However, we pride ourselves on offering individual care suited to each pet/s, which we discuss fully at a free no obligation consultation.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

We need a deposit on the booking of the care, at the free no obligation consultation - 10% or $20 which is the larger and 25% for Pet Home Boarding, The balance then to be paid at least 2 working days prior to care commencing either with cash, cheque or internet banking.

Our  business offers a wide variety of care - Pet Home Boarding, Pet Sitting, Pet Visits, Dog Walking and Transportation of Pets/Owners.  Our business offers a high standard of loving individual care to your pet/s as we only walk one family of dogs at a time and only do Pet Home Boarding for one family of pet/s at a time.  Visits to the home  -  we discuss pet/s normal routine/requirements and meet them prior to care commencing.  Pet Sitting your pet/s are in their own environment and again normal routine and medications, health issues are discussed at the free consultation.
