Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes, I am fully insured.  It is difficult to guarantee my work as my clients also need to be responsible for their actions also to achieve results.  If people are unhappy with my service I am obviously happy to come to an agreement.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Accepted Answer

I have always been active and played a lot of sport.  I worked in the corporate arena and constantly stood at the window at lunchtime waiting to get outside to go for a run.  I decided that maybe I should change career and do what I am passionate about - and become a personal trainer.  I love Wellness Coaching as it is great to see people realise that the can meet their goals and lead a more fulfilling life.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

It was great to hear one of my Mums and Bubs clients tell me that they sneezed and laughed at the same time and their pelvic floor felt strong!  It is nice to receive texts at 7.15am after a session being told by the client that the really enjoyed the session and now feel like the can get through the day.

What do you like most about your job?

Accepted Answer

I love seeing clients become fitter and lose weight and realise how much better they feel. I love to see my Mums and Bubs strengthen their core and be able to move around more easily.  I love to see my Wellness Coaching clients realise that they can achieve their goals.

A client should should ask: What qualifications do you have? Are you insured? What sort of experience do you have? Would someone be happy to refer you?

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Accepted Answer

My clients ask me how I keep fit or what I do for my own training.  My answer to them is - I do basically what you are doing with me.  This shows that I practice what I preach.  Being passionate about my health and loving the outdoors I probably make more time than my clients to fit in my own training.

The fact that I own and manage my business makes me reliable and trustworthy.  I am committed to my clients' health and wellness and their want to improve their fitness.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Accepted Answer

I should be hired over another provider and I have a passion for health and wellness. I get to know my clients - what makes them tick, I recognise if they are having a good or bad day - which in turn shows me how hard I can make them work during that particular session.  I am very particular about exercise technique - so the exercise is done correctly without injury.  I do not yell at my clients.  My clients stay with me long term.

I would like to know where they live, if they want to train at home, what they would like to achieve from being a client, if they have any particular injury or illness.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

There is no real possibility of saving money before they embark on a fitness programme.  They could ensure their footwear is good and their clothing is good so they can fully benefit from the first session without discomfort.

I am happy to give Oneflare customers a copy of my e-recipe book which contains healthy and simple recipes to assist them in the nutrition - which is a major part of being healthy and losing weight.

My pricing is competitive as I provide a good quality service.  You get what you pay for! I am totally reliable, always be contacted and am passionate about my clients improving their fitness and wellness.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I am flexible as to how people can pay me.  People can pay by cheque, they can directly transfer money into a bank account or they can pay by cash.  Whatever is easiest for my clients.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I specialise in Mums and Bubs Fitness and pre natal fitness - training pregnant ladies.  This requires a special qualification and many alternatives need to be give to these people so they can train safely.  I also train clients who have diabetes and multiple sclerosis (autoimmune illnesses) which requires special attention to the client during the sessions and knowledge of the illness.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I am a Certificate IV Personal Trainer, Certificate III Gym Instructor and Group Fitness Instructor.  I am a registered pre and post natal fitness instructor. I have Boxing for Fitness Certificate.  I am qualified to train older adults and children.  I have a Certificate in Nutrition. I am fully insured, with First Aid and CPR.  I have been a personal trainer for 8 years.
