How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Having worked on computers and web design since 1996, I noticed the way many companies treated their clients once they had a contract signed with the customer. I believe that customers should be given personal service, no matter how busy the company is. And so, Aussie Web Pro was born, to bring my expertise and personal service values to my customers in the best possible way

What do you like most about your job?

There isn't much more that we enjoy more than chatting with a customer and working together to develop a bunch of ideas into a beautiful website. To see the final result and to see and hear our customers delight, makes us happy indeed!

I value highly excellent customer relationships and therefore offer a very personalised service. I like to ensure that my customers websites are a success, because their success also helps me.

At Aussie Web Pro, we believe in giving our customers the very best in personalised service. Whether it is sitting down with a customer, to work through the finer details of the web design or even expressing an idea to the customer something that we believe may help his or her business's profitability, we want to help.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Some things that need to be considered prior to giving a firm quotation on a website design is what type of website is being required. For example, an e-commerce site may only have 10-20 products or maybe 1000 products. Obviously these additional products take more time to add to the online store, so consideration has to be given to this. Another consideration is whether the customer is wanting to do their own website updates.

What makes your pricing competitive?

One of the things that makes Aussie Web Pro competitive is the fact that we do not have the high overheads of many of the large web design companies. We don't need flashy offices to perform our work to our high standards, so the savings come back to our customers.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

Almost all of the work we perform is based on a firm quotation that sets out the parameters of the job, whether it is a content management system (CMS) or an e-commerce website for an online store. I believe that a firm quote gives the customer peace of mind knowing that the job is not going to blow out of their budget.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce website designs. We also specialise in responsive web design that allows websites to be viewed properly on any device whether a mobile phone, an iPad, a laptop or a standard computer.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

At Aussie Web Pro we are experienced in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript, having worked in the industry since 1996 for various companies until eventually deciding to launch Aussie Web Pro in 2011 to give customers are much needed personal service that many other companies seem to neglect.
