Frequently asked questions

  • Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Oakhill Lawyers is family focused which means we are available for skype conferences or emails after hours and on weekends. Oakhill Lawyers focuses on things that families need such as wills, powers of attorney and conveyancing (both buying and selling properties). Oakhill Lawyers also enjoys helping other small business owners who are starting up or are established with any employment law issues and the preparation or review of contracts and agreements.

  • How do you normally charge for your service?

We usually offer a fixed price for services. Conveyancing fees are $750 plus GST plus disbursements (which are the costs associated with obtaining property certificates and title searches). The disbursements are usually around $200. Our fees for estate planning which can include wills, powers of attorney, superannuation binding death benefit nominations, succession of family trusts and business succession planning are also at a fixed price (depending on what each individual needs).
