  D&S Homely Gardens did an excellent job in our garden. We used one flare to source a gardener as we didn't know any personally in the area, and they were in touch with us very soon after posting our requirements. They came and met me at our house and inspected the property and took some soil samples. We had a decent idea as to what we wanted out of the job, but were unsure with a few planting options and edging ideas. They provided us with a whole host of different options and was happy to go back and forth to get exactly what we wanted. They were patient and willing to do the research on various plants etc. They did the work efficiently and to such a great standard. We were very pleased with the end product. They also gave us a personalised document at the end noting how to care for the particular plants and upkeep of the lawn which we were repairing. We would recommended D & S Homely Gardens to anyone, they a hard working, trustworthy business. Thanks again and we look forward to enjoying our amazing backyard.

  We would definitely recommend using D&S Homely Gardens. Our experience with them was excellent. We had some problems in our garden that were not straightforward and rather than simply quote to plant new trees, Steve went away and did very thorough (obligation free) research into the issue. He provided us with a good deal of information and options to consider. We were then able to decide what was best and we decided to contact them to complete the job for us. They did a great job of planting the new trees and various associated tasks such as putting in a watering system. They were punctual, polite and friendly. A pleasure to deal with.

• Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

  We are insured and we guarantee all our work. We stand by our quality workmanship. We are open, honest and transparent. There may however be times when a client requests a particular plant that may not be an appropriate choice for their garden, and this would have to be discussed.

• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  We both come from the metal trade, which is where we met and became good mates. We have since studied to learn more and gain qualifications in horticulture. We both have young kids that changed our lives, and made us think we should be doing something we love for work, so we started this business.
