We specialise in European Vehicles and also fuel injection faults and fault finding. We regularly perform repairs for other in-experienced workshops and assist in over the phone diagnosis if required

We charge by our hourly rate @ $115.50 p/hr which has not increased for over five years. We're always aware of budgeting costs for customers and regularly work within their budget

The fact that I don't need to increase my hourly rate meaning we run a tight ship and focus on workshop time efficiency

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
I need the exact year and model of the car also any detail towards the repair, things like running rough when cold or brakes squeal when stopping etc.

Yes I'm fully insured, I have a lifetime guarantee on workmanship with five technicians on the floor, our staff are fully trained and continue to attend Bosch factory training
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
I would think to ask if the repair shop is familiar with that model vehicle and if they've performed that type of repair required. It always pays to seek the correct workshop for your model vehicle
What do you like most about your job?
I like the vast different scope of jobs required at times, being things like repairs to old vintage type cars from Europe to modern day to day type cars. I enjoy the challenge of restoring fuel injection items and running gear etc.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
I once had a first time customer book in his Rover 75 sedan, he asked me to check his transmission as the car jolts forward, he's had the car at a Rover dealer multiple times for the same complaint. turned out the suspension bushes were flogged out.....
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
I can inspect the vehicle and give an itemised quote before start of work. I can also give the customer options available to complete the repair, things like aftermarket parts or quality used parts.
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
I've been in business for over eighteen years and I'm a licenced vehicle tester, I perform roadworthy inspections and pre-purchase inspections sometimes on a daily basis. I have a family owned business and want to continue with our quality workmanship
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
Some customers want a detail description on work performed which I can easily help with. It's always a good idea to have good communications with customers so we're all on the same page.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I've always wanted to be a motor mechanic as my father was a mechanic too. I was always handy working with my hands and new I was up for the challenge from an early age
