Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes, both myself and my business are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance. Myself and staff are 100% reliable and neither has any FMK event failed or been a no show, we always turn up and complete the required work assign to us to the desired level and end state. As a celebrant, If for some reason, I am unable to attend or you need to change me as your Marriage Celebrant, this can be transferred using the online system to another online celebrant.

Will you require customers to share their COVID-19 vaccination status?

Yes, under current Government laws and Public Health Directions, proof of vaccination is a requirement in all our states or territories, however certain restrictions can and will vary.

What COVID-19 measures do you have in place?

Avoid touching surfaces, especially in public settings or health facilities, in case people infected with COVID-19 have touched them. Clean surfaces regularly with standard disinfectants. Wear Face Masks where required, social distance and avoid contact. Have any indoor setting well ventilated and frequently clean your hands with soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Having spent 27 years in the Military I got to understand and enjoy all types of people. I thoroughly respect marriage and what it represents. The Army awarded me with being super organizational and excellent time management skills, the same qualities necessary and expected to be a celebrant as basically nothing fazes me . My time in the development of my business seen me perform as a Master of Ceremony (MC) and therefore had a vast involvement in wedding, so it was just a nature progression and it has taught me that not only as a great MC, but to be a great Celebrant my focus must be on affording you guys the luxury of being able to relax and enjoy your ceremony, which results in not only you, but all your guests also have a good time too.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Customers should ask for the exact type of services they need and expect. Essentially, the 3 important qualities of customer service center around three “P”s: professionalism, patience, and a “people-first” attitude. Although customer service varies from customer to customer, as long as you're following these guidelines, you're always gong to be on the right track.

This is a great question because as a celebrant I love to answer what you want to know.  I am presuming that you have had a bit of time to chat and feel comfortable with me as their celebrant and feel that we have made a connection and can work together. So the obvious first question about being available on your chosen day ( otherwise a lot of the questions to follow this one might seem a bit of a waste of time..lol), in the very rare chance that I am unable to be your celebrant on the day ( ie What is your Plan B ?) As a celebrants and with my business, I will always have a Plan B, and C up my sleeve - it is in my nature to be this organised and also to ensure that you the client, receive the most professional service possible at all times. The next topic for questions would centre around the financials, and please do not be shy in asking - is to enquire about the celebrant's fees and what is included ( ie a rehearsal, travel, etc) deposit, final payments, cancellations etc. Most celebrants will have prepared a set of frequently asked questions that they can provide for you to assist with the answers to questions that you may not even have thought of yet..lol I always like to remind my clients...there is no such thing as a dumb question ( only dumb answers...usually from me !)

Can I provide the products or services asked for? Can I provide the products or services in the quantities and the time frame requested? Can I charge an amount that is likely to be feasible for my customer and for me to still make a profit? Good communications

Keep track of your spending and separate wants from actual needs.  Avoid using credit to pay your bills Cut down on any foreseeable wastage or double ups, look at packages rather than multiply suppliers

As a celebrant I work on the value for the hours spent required to meet the customers expectations at a reasonable level that is fair to both my clients and myself. My business FMK works on a set hourly rate of $110.00 P/Hr.

As a celebrant, I conduct formal ceremonies in the community, particularly weddings, which are the main ceremony of legal import, however am qualified to perform vow renewals, baby naming, funerals and memorials. FMK specializes in all forms of live entertainment from singers to DJ's and especially everting in between

As a wedding Celebrant I am certified, qualified and registered with the Australian Attorney General. I have been engaged within the hospitality/entertainment industry providing highly acknowledged professional services for 18+ years, which has bestowed me a multitude of proficiencies and precise skill sets that are essential and consistent with being a successful Wedding Celebrant and professional entertainer.
