I am insured and am a member of Australian Federation of Civil Celebrant that do have a set code of practice to follow. I know all legal requirements of what makes a binding wedding ceremony and will guarantee all will be followed

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

When i was married 6 years ago i had a very tardy celebrant she did not dress appropriately. We had very little help when it came to doing our wedding ceremony and she only wanted to speak with me via email. rehearsal was at her house as she did not want to travel to our venue. I was paying for a service and felt i did not get value for money. so i studied and became qualified and have never looked back after 5 years

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I had a couple that were getting married and had put so much time and effort into planning their day. They had just recently had a baby girl and through it would be great to combine their wedding ceremony and surprise their guests with their daughters baby naming ceremony during the wedding. Was really lovely and such a magical ceremony. A great way to combine all attendees in their day and celebrate the beginning of so much more

What do you like most about your job?

meeting new couple and learning their stories, creating their magical day with them and giving them additional options that they may not have thought of. Making each wedding ceremony individual and unique

What do we need to get married? Paperwork is the easiest part of my service. A NOIM is to be filed a min 1 month and 1 day before wedding. You will require to show original documentation to verify your identity and this will all need to be witnessed by the marriage celebrant

I am always available after your booking fee is paid right up to the day of your wedding ceremony. I communicate through phone, messages, email, conversations post and via facebook. what ever is convenient for you

I am flexible and reliable, travel to me you at a location convenient to you for our first meeting. I love what i do and go that extra mine to make your day special

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Location, if it is at a venue, inside or outside ceremony.  How many guests will be attending the wedding ceremony, Is there a bridal party and if so how big. Will there be any additions to your ceremony like readings or  poems

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

To save money, know what you want on your day and know who you want involved. Ensure you have a wet weather plan available for use at last minute if required on the day Make your day your way but always do your research first

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

I would offer a 15 % discount off my normal service fee for any local weddings within a 20km radius from Ormeau, QLD. The fee is normally $450 depending on needs and requests of couples

What makes your pricing competitive?

My prices are competitive due to my inclusions: unlimited meeting and correspondence. A rehearsal prior to the wedding ceremony, I supply my PA system and a table and chair is available on request at no additional charge

How do you normally charge for your service?

I have a set fee for my wedding ceremonies and then depending on any extras that the couple may want or depending on location of the ceremony. Marriage certificate is charged on top of the ceremony and is payable to births deaths and marriage

I specialise in Wedding ceremonies, they are the most creative and special part of any ladies life. I also have performed a variety of Baby Naming ceremonies at a lot of unique locations

I have been an Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant since 2008 and have done numerous wedding ceremonies across the Gold Coast and Brisbane area. I am always learning from previous brides and new brides with creative and inspirational ideas
