I thought choosing a Celebrant was going to be a difficult choice however as soon as I met Lisa I knew she was the celebrant for us. Her warmth and personable nature combined with professionalism the whole way made me feel completely at ease. My guests all loved her too. In a nutshell “Nan and I would highly recommend Carmen Rae from Marry Me Plz to anyone planning to get married”. Carmen is a real character ! She was so friendly and easy to work with. But as well as having such a great personality, Carmen is a true professional Marriage Celebrant. For example, during our first meeting Carmen went through all the necessary documents for us to provide and helped us complete the Notice of Intended Marriage. She ensured we had the correct names of our witnesses. Carmen made sure that all legal time frames were satisfied so that our marriage was able to proceed as planned. Carmen also made sure that we were ware of the Covid 19 requirements that we had to satisfy . This included providing had hand sanitiser and that we socially distanced. Carmen went to considerable lengths to make sure that our ceremony was what “we” wanted. To help us with our Marriage, Carmen provided copies of other ceremonies that she had conducted, different vowels including ring vowels, copies of poems and readings. Carmen even provided a “Wedding Calendar Checklist”!!! And just as important was the rehearsal that Carmen arranged the week before the wedding at the actual location where we finally got married. Nan’s mother “La Mar” is original Chinese and unable to speak English. This was no problem for Carmen who was able to make slight adjustments to ensure that “La Mar” could join in and participate in our Wedding Ceremony. Carmen’s handsome husband Ronnie was also fantastic. Ronnie not only provided and set up the Arbor to make the wedding ceremony look so romantic, he also went to the trouble of downloading and formatting the three wedding songs that we had chosen for the ceremony. He even provided some great songs after our ceremony was completed that our guests could enjoy and relax to. Ronnie also had a great little PA system which enabled our small group of friends could clearly hear the ceremony and the music for our ceremony. Table and chairs were provided for us to sign our Certificate of Marriage and Ronnie provided another table for our refreshments. What a great service! Carmen is so lucky to have Ronnie as her "helping hand"!!! As previously mentioned, Nan and I would highly recommend Carmen Rae from Marry Me Plz to anyone planning to get married.
