Computer will not boot. On start up, message says "Windows did not start normally on last restart. Would you like to run Windows Repair?" If you select windows repair, it shows "Microsoft Loading Files", turns black and in 2-3 minutes comes up with Windows background but no icons, just a large cursor that is controllable. It will stay in this state for hours, and days without completing the Windows load.

My HP Windows 7 Desktop has the Blue Screen of Death - ntoskrnl.exe & Tmumlt.sys I believe the Ram Sticks have been damaged. I had a new Hard drive installed 8 months ago - I haven't used my computer for 4 months. My Acer Windows 7 Laptop has always been extremely slow. When I collected the Computer for repair Magally was very casual with the time frame allocated for the job. She offered 200 for the repair and I agreed to the rate but informed her that I could not at that stage confirm the expected time frame for collection. She arrived at my apartment on Mother... I find this review very unfair and vindictive as her PC took around 7hrs to backup, reload and configure on the weekend. I have diagnosed the issue to be a hard drive issue. Windows diagnostics have given everything else the tick of approval, so I guess the HD needs replacing. Can you confirm that this should not erase my files, pics music etc? The computer is an HP all in one touch screen.Review 19 May 2017

"What is the most reliable way to backup my data?" I always suggest they anyone have an external backup of the original. This mean external to the hard drive the original data was stored on. Also today cloud storage is very cheep and reliable. Defiantly a good choice for a third and final backup.
