Yes I am an insured business. I also carry pre-workout forms to complete with the clients so it is clear what injuries or medical restrictions are present before we do any workouts.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I has a very stressful job and went to the gym for stress relief. A passion in what it was doing to help me soon started to turn into a career. Helping people get back to a better version of themselves made me form my company Getback Health and Fitness.

One client was seeing a physiotherapist a chiropractor and a massage therapist each week due to years of pain. We started training together and working on his posture, strength, mobility and flexibility. 12 weeks later he is seeing them every 3 weeks.

Meeting people face to face. Listening to what is important in their lives. Seeing people get results and start to believe in themselves more. Knowing I had some value to give.

How do I lose weight? Answer - firstly get your metabolism up anmake your relationship with food a good one Don't make drastic changes to your diet in one go. How do I get toned up? Answer - weight training and a bit of cardio. Weight training doesn't necessarily make you big. It's a myth.

Being old school I place a lot of value in committing to what I have told a client is the time we meet, the place we meet, and the cost. I expect the same in return.

I am a mature aged trainer who has learnt plenty of life's lessons in what it takes to improve your fitness and health. I am a good listener and focus on the client's goals above all else. I always like to make the experience different, fun and knowledgeable each time.

Health goals i.e get fitter to do what? lose weight by how much? what is their number one goal and by when?, how often can they train? what time of the day and for how long?

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Warm up first - go for a 5 min walk at a steady pace. Do some movement stretches all over body after the warm arm (arm circles, leg circles, rotate hips, bend knees) Make sure you start this 10 mins before we meet.

For someone to travel to you (costs included) I believe it to be good value at this pricing. If you agree to train at my gym instead of at your home then the entrance fee to the gym is also included.

How do you normally charge for your service?

$40-50 per hour session and travel is included. I can do as one only session or packs of 4 (once per week) or packs of 12 (3 times a week for a month) at a discount.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Not really. However I do have an interest in strength training, boxing, self defence, and stick mobility (stretching using sticks), and functional training

Over 10 years ago I decided to seriously get my own health in check, both physical fitness and nutritional intake. The weight came off and I feel amazing. My energy levels and concentration are the sharpest they've been. I am a qualified trainer and spend every day face to face with people.
