Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes we carry indemnity insurance. We are lawyers -  our regulating body demands that we are covered.  We are insured in Australia through the Legal Professions board and in the UK through the Bar Mutual. We provide a guarantee on our quote to be the lowest fee on a price match offer of our service. Our service is basic conveyance although we do provide a professional service looking after the clients interests as we are lawyers and that is what we must do through our code.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have worked as a lawyer for over 14 years and online for over 8 years.  Conveyancing is a time that everyone should be happy.  I love the excitement and the joy that people have when they are buying a home or even selling.  It is really a great area of law to practice. I can spend time with the client taking them through each step of the way.  I make the time. It is an efficient way of working, as most searches are online now this brings down the overheads and allows me to provide a legal service for discounted fee and spend time chatting to the clients.  It also helps to be clear about the process and does not allow confusion of legal issues as it is direct.   Working online also allows one to be able to address issues from anywhere and at anytime. There is no excuses... it is great suits me and modern business.

As a legal professional we are bound by confidentiality and I would not like a client to be reading about his matter online.  Gosh ... all clients are individuals and each matter has a story - rich tapestry of life.  I just hope that all my stories have happy endings and today they have.

Are you qualified and regulated? Are my rights protected -  are you a member of an association and are you covered by indemnity insurance? Have you experience - do you know what your doing? Who is responsible for the job? Will you meet the dead line? Will you keep me informed - after all I am the client and I want to know what is going on.   Do you charge for my phone calls, emails and questions?   What are the hidden costs?  or are your fees all inclusive? What jurisdiction do you practice in?   If the transaction falls through will I be charged?

What do you do as a law firm compared to a conveyancer. We are lawyers.  We are trained to protect the client.  To avoid problems now and at later date. We offer a guarantee.  We are regulated by the Legal Services Board.  We are offering a fixed fee with no add on's and our fee includes the GST.  the disbursements are capped at $100 so usually on you will pay around $60 plus gst - We guarantee that you will not pay more than $100 for your searches.  It is a basic service... we tell what you have to do and we do all we have to do. We keep in touch with our client by email and by phone. We dont charge  extra for this.

We have proven experience and have taken many clients through the legal process.  We would not be in practice if we could not be relied upon or trustworthy.  We would not be lawyers.  In fact no one should be able to practice if they were not reliable or trustworthy as it would be a breach the legal professions professional ethics.

Whether the transaction is within the normal range of residential or commercial conveyancing. if there is some quirky or messy issue that may cause a snag. these days though Land registry has most listings and computerised.  The reports will show up any issues that may need further attention. If a client is raising finance can cause timing issues.  So it is important that the bank has been contacted and finance has been sorted.

The service is a fixed fee online conveyancing service.   Savings are found through researching what service is provided. and we know the cheapest is not always the best. We offer the cheapest in Australia - though this is not on reduction of our legal service it is based on computer efficiency and investment and experience in property law.  We do not compromise on our service and provide a professional service and abide by our professional duties.

LOW cost. all inclusive upfront price. includes searches, settlement, professional fees and disbursements.  Most law firms and conveyancers will charge much more and then they will put add ons.  We keep it simple.  It is not rocket science as some law firms will make out. All disbursements are included. We keep in touch with the client every step of the way until settlement and then even after to make sure the client is happy.  We want to be with you on your journey.  We are confident that we are great at what we do... we love helping you - because it is an exciting time for you.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We have a policy that legal services should be charged by fixed fee  all inclusive of disbursements and professional fees.  Searches and settlement are also within the fee so you pay a true fixed all inclusive fee.   Conveyancing certainly should be a fixed fee.  Buying or selling property is an expensive exercise and you need to be able to budget all the way.  You certainly do not want to end the day with a surprise in the billing. so we provide a quote that is fixed and live with that.  We want out clients to be happy and have a great experience and with hope will use our services again based on the ease of experience.
